I just found out on twitter that Apple sold more iOS devices in 2011 than total Macs in its 28 year history. Isn't that wild?

Bacon Roses - I Kid You Not

 I'm telling ya - people love them some bacon. Apparently a lot of women thought either (a) they would feel so loved if they received a bouquet of bacon roses for Valentine's Day or (b) they could prove their undying devotion if they made bacon roses for their man on Valentine's Day.

These bacon roses were pinned and repinned many times on Pinterest and some of the comments are entertaining. To make them, you roll up the bacon and insert each meaty flower in a muffin tin, but first you have to use a drill and put a hole in the bottom of each muffin cup for the grease to drain out.

Yeah, I won't be making any of these, but if you want to, you can find step by step directions here. And note: that recipe was the 1st Prize Winner of the Bacon Contest! Yee-ha!

Donkeyotee and the Violin Farmer Lady

Oh my heavens! The farmer/violinist lady says it herself - her animals are ridiculous. Her sweet little donkey, "Donkeyotee," apparently enjoys the violin! And he's so lucky that he found a sweet owner; she found him abandoned and very skinny. Now he's happy and sings along when she practices.
